During the academic year, Tufts Drosophila biologists participate in a monthly group lab meeting known as FlyClub. All of these investigators have an interest in using the fruit fly Drosophila as a model organism for biological and biomedical research. Interests among Tufts fly biologists include development, aging, gene expression, genetic recombination, feeding and obesity, nutrition, pathogenesis and behavior. FlyClub meets on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm in the Arnold 1 conference room of the medical school. The current schedule for FlyClub can be found at this link. You can send a message to Tufts FlyClub members at: flyclub@elist.tufts.edu.

Our Drosophila media kitchen is open to Tufts investigators who require fly medium for planned experiments. Please contact Ms. Mary Roberts (mary.roberts@tufts.edu) in the Jackson lab for further information about this facility.
